About the hosts :

Lisa and Johann are a Franco-American couple.
Following a career in finance and public relations in Chicago, the couple decided to change their life in 2003 and move to Provence to manage the family vineyard. In an effort to respect the environment, the couple has transformed the 11 hectare property, Les Pastras, into an organic farm that produces grapevines, olives, apricots, plums, cherries, apples, pears, figs, almonds, hazelnuts and both summer and black winter truffles. Enjoy a unique and resolutely authentic Provencal experience with charming local people who conduct their events in English.

Lisa and Johann also donate 50% of the profits from selected products to children’s charities around the world.

Grape stomp experience in Provence details :

Discover one of the oldest traditions in the world in the heart of Provence at a beautiful organic farm.

Lisa and Johann will show you around their vineyard and explain everything about grape cultivation and the organic wine making they passionately produce on site. After instruction in harvesting grapes, you’ll stomp them barefoot in a waist-high oak barrel to the music of Edith Piaf and with a breathtaking view of Mont-Sainte-Victoire.
Your hosts will share fascinating and amusing anecdotes about harvests handed down by France’s winemakers. You will also learn traditional French drinking songs sung for generations.
Your experience will be followed by a cheese, charcuterie, and fruit trays, red wine, and a tasting of olive oil and truffle products produced on site.

This activity is available for 2-12 people on weekdays at 10am from 1st to 30th September.
